Fatcow hosting is same like other web host, when you signup there is free domain that you can register or choose to use existing domain that you own. If you are choosing to register, your new domain will be available once dns propagation complete and then only you can view your website from your domain name directly.

If you are using existing domain name, make sure you have chance the domain dns to point to fatcow dns, in order for your domain to be hosted here with fatcow.com. Wait for domain propagation to complete too, do allow 48 hours for this.

once you setup the domain right, your website will be available online and viewable at your site, eg. yourwebsite.com, and its going to be viewable by visitor and search engines as well. Take this fatcowreview.org for example, its hosted with fatcow.com, and its getting good listing in google and yahoo search engines too, first page listing!
