I’d avoid a “site builder” because then you end up stuck with that provider or you end up having to re-do your site if you ever do decide to move.

No website have better sitebuilder than one at geocities.. Unfoutunatly geocities is no more.

Free hosting structure are oftenly unsustainable and failed over time, and all member sites will be deleted at the end.
That is why website owner are now preferring to run own websites from own hosting account and fully own their website.
